Numerology
Numerology is perhaps one of the easiest of divination to understand and use. All you need is the birth date and the complete name of an individual to unlock the secrets that the numbers hold.

Numerology can help you better understand yourself, your strengths and weaknesses, what you need to work on and what you have to work with, where you are coming from and the heights you can yet reach. It's all there in your cosmic name and in your date of birth. The name initially given at birth is called the cosmic name. It reflects your goals, talents, lessons and debts, in essence, your reasons for being here. Changing your name can enhance or detract from your ability to fulfill your mission in life, but it does not change these factors.

The day of the month on which the you were born - regardless of which month or year it is - is an important numerological indicator, providing an excellent "thumbnail sketch" of standout traits. It strongly influences the most productive period of your life.

There are 4 main key numbers in a chart. These are the Soul Urge, the Quite Self, the Expression and the Life Path.

The Soul Urge is found by adding together all the vibrations of the vowels. It reveals the longings of the soul, the goals and motivations in life. The sum of the vibrations of the consonants is the Quiet Self. It indicates the unique talents that help you reach your goals and, because it operates on a more subconscious level, is expressed as if describing a dream. The total of all of the vibrations in the name is the Expression. This is the face you show the world, the traits that others see most readily. You may find that you vibrate to one or more of these numbers, i.e., feel a particular draw to them without consciously knowing why. The Life Path is the sum of the birth date. This number represents who you are at birth and the native traits that you will carry with you through life.

The primary vibrations are 1 through 9, plus master vibrations of 11 and 22. Vibrations above 9 can be reduced to primary by adding the digits together. For example, 10, 19 and 28 are "1's".

The 11 (K) and 22 (V) are master vibrations, and therefore are not reduced when doing chart calculations. When these vibrations are active in an individual's life they can be reduced by the way that person lives them, and in such instances, they take on the negative aspects of the reduced vibration. Thus an individual can turn the imagination and inspiration of the 11 into the leaning, whining co-dependence of the negative 2, or the material mastery and world vision of the 22 into the stingy drudgery of the negative 4.
