The following meditation will focus and center you, and reconnect you with the universe.
Start by laying flat on your back, close your eyes and begin to breathe deeply through your nose. Fell yourself
relax. Take your time and become one with your body. When you are ready, bring your attention to your first chakra, at
the base of your spine. Then begin breathing in and out from your first Chakra. Try to feel that on each inhalation your
breath does not stop at the bottom of your lungs but continues to flowing down all the way to the base of your spine. With
each exhalation, feel as if the energy at the base of your spine is growing stronger. As it grows visualize the energy
there as a fiery ball of red energy. Become the ball of energy and feel yourself being drawn downward into the Earth.
Pay attention to how you feel physically, emotionally and mentally.
When you are satisfied, take a deep breath through your nose, release the energy at the base of your spine and move onto the
second chakra, situated right above your sexual organs. Then begin to breathe to your second chakra. On each inhalation feel your
breathe going down do your second chakra. On each exhalation, feel the energy created in your sexual organs increasing. As it
grows stronger, visualize the energy as a pulsating ball of orange energy. Become the ball of energy and feel yourself begin
to radiate outward from the center. Again pay attention to how you are feeling physically, emotionally and mentally.
When you are ready, take a deep breathe through your nose, release the energy at your second chakra and move on to your third
chakra located at just below the breastbone.
Continue on in this fashion, visualizing a ball of yellow energy at the third chakra.
A ball of green light at your fourth chakra.
A ball of blue light at your fifth chakra.
A ball of indigo light at your sixth chakra.
And finally a ball of pure white light radiating out from the top of your head at the seventh chakra.
When you have released the last ball of energy, take a deep breathe through your nose, and let your breathing return to normal.
Then mentally return to the room and relax.
it is a good idea to keep a diary a to record how you felt at each chakra and of any images that you may have had. |
